Carson Beck Serves Up a New Meaning to “2-A-Days”

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Carson Beck is serving up his tastiest Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal yet!

The Georgia quarterback (QB) just announced his newest partnership with Chipotle. He and the Mexican-American food chain released a new advertisement on Tuesday, September 24 featuring several other Bulldogs.

Beck, along with teammates Dillon Bell (wide receiver), Nate Frazier (running back), and Tate Ratledge (offensive lineman) star in the campaign.

Beck jokes about running a “two-a-day.” Frazier, a rookie, assumes Beck is alluding to a workout routine undergone twice in one day. However, he realizes the QB is talking about the act of ordering Chipotle twice in one day.

According to FOX5 Atlanta, the advertisement represents the athletes’ frequent multi-day visits to the chain.

Beck even shared his personal Chipotle order, The Carson Beck Bowl:

Double chicken

White rice

Black beans

Mild tomato salsa

Tomatillo-green salsa

Guacamole

Lettuce

Chipotle’s focus on athletes

This isn’t Chipotle’s first time working with college athletes. Last year, the restaurant chain partnered with former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

Like Beck, Harrison shot an advertisement for the brand featuring several of his teammates.

Both athletes represented the company’s “Real Food for Real Athletes” campaign, FOX5 Atlanta reports. The platform focuses on providing athletes with the proper nutrition to fuel their actions on and off the field.

“Training hard and eating real food go hand-in-hand,” the brand states. “That’s why we only bring you real food made fresh everyday.”

A leader on AND off the field

With this campaign, Beck is proving he can pilot his team on the turf, as well as off. Before the 2024 season, the QB discussed his goals for the team in their upcoming season.

“The biggest thing for me is not only being a leader of the offense but trying to be a leader of the entire team,” Beck said. “That’s a step for me.”

Beck has done a solid job of this, leading his team to a 5-1 record so far (making Georgia the second-best in the SEC after Week 6). Some analysts are even pegging the Bulldogs’ QB as the next Heisman Trophy recipient.

Although this is arguably the most coveted college football award, Beck selflessly says if he were to win it, it wouldn’t be a result of just his hard work.

It’s 100 percent a team trophy,Beck said when asked about the Heisman hype in July. “Obviously as a quarterback, my success is very much dependent on the offensive line, it’s very much dependent on how our running backs play, it’s very much dependent on if our defense can get stops, it’s very much dependent on if our wide receivers can go make contested catches and get open.”

“At the end of the day, it very much is a team oriented award” stated the QB. “It’s not my main goal, but if I was able to get there, obviously it’d be a dream come true.”

Overall, Beck seems to display all of the qualities of the next award winner.
