Fans can search for Robinson on the field by finding #5.

The 21 year-old running back is ranked top-five all-time rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, and number of 100-yard rushing games for the Longhorns.

Robinson also partners with The Den Foundation, an organization that donates $5 for every yard this Longhorn runner gains.

It is clear that good things come in “5”s for Robinson.

Den 5for5

After learning that 1% of Travis County, Texas community members are homeless, Robinson knew he wanted to make a difference. He partnered with the Den Foundation, which works with Community First! Village. This is a 51-acre master-planned community in Austin that provides housing and support for community members suffering from chronic homelessness.

Together, the Den Foundation and Robinson launched the Den 5for5 program. For every yard gained by the running back, the foundation will donate $5 to the Community First! Village. The residential program will use these funds to provide shelter, food, and other necessities for their occupants. They go beyond providing the basics. Care is also offered to improve quality of life and help individuals to “rediscover a purpose,” founder Alan Graham says.

Fans of #5 and the Longhorns, or anyone else interested in supporting the village can also contribute to the cause. They are welcome to match the amount that the Den Foundation is donating, or follow the Foundation’s trend. They can even do this at a smaller scale of 5 cents per yard instead of $5. Individuals can keep track of how many yards the star has gained by visiting this link. Currently, he was at 1,894 yards, which would equal $94.70 if fans wanted to go by this approach.

Robinson is a workhorse on and off the field

Moreover, the athlete’s stats continue to improve. His collegiate career also includes 3,410 rushing yards (41 touchdowns).

Robinson tweeted about the project in February:

Den 5for5 lists some of the activities Robinson participates in, saying he is a current member of the 2022-23 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). This is a group that works with athletic department administrators on issues relating to the management, operations, and rules governing the athletic department and its sports teams while representing the diverse backgrounds, views, interests, and concerns of student-athletes.

The Longhorns running back has also immersed himself into the world of NIL (Name Image and Likeness) Deals and Endorsements. He has partnered with Lamborghini Austin, C4 Energy, Athletic Brewing Company, Rhoback, Candy Digital, and more. He has also created a personal mustard brand fans can find by the name of “Bijan Mustardson.”

Robinson’s drive is undeniable, and a passion for improving the quality of other individuals’ lives through his playing is incredible. Off the field, he is well rounded, generous, and humble. Combined with his size, strength, and speed on the field, he could be a real threat in this year’s draft.
