Quinn Ewers Displays ‘Strong’ Mentality With New NIL Deal

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Quinn Ewers has been busy during the off-season. The Texas quarterback (QB) has inked one Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal after another.

His most recent NIL deal is with Gold’s Gym, a fitness center chain with over 200 locations throughout the U.S.

Ewers’ newest partnership

Gold’s Gym recently posted an advertisement featuring Ewers sharing what “strong” means to him.

“Whether we’re talking about physically strong or mentally strong- to be a quarterback you gotta have both. That just means being comfortable in your own skin but also having thick enough skin to take whatever’s thrown at you and to handle certain adversities that are gonna be put in your way,” Ewers states in the advertisement.

The Texas QB shared his thoughts on the gym, plus what he hopes to accomplish with them.

“I have always admired Gold’s as a brand that stands for physical and mental strength with the legendary history to prove it,” said Ewers. “With this partnership, I am humbled to become part of the Gold’s legacy, and I hope to inspire others on their path to becoming stronger.”

The perfect pick

Gold’s Gym is nearing its 60th anniversary and is looking for a star college athlete to represent the brand. As one of the top NIL earners in his class, Ewers is the perfect choice. He will serve as the brand’s ambassador through the 2024 college football season.

The Texas QB even lost almost 20 pounds since last season. Who better for the fitness chain to partner with than an up-and-coming athlete who has significantly improved his fitness routine within the last year?

“Quinn is gearing up for the most important year of his life on the gridiron with all eyes on him, and he is the epitome of the kind of strength that is at the heart of Gold’s mission,” said Gold’s Gym co-CEO Danny Waggoner.

“Through our partnership with Quinn, we want to show that Gold’s is here for those who want to become stronger, no matter where they are in their fitness journey.”

Ewers’ NIL Reign

Ewers has undoubtedly mastered the world of NIL throughout his college career.

Since his start with the Longhorns, he has signed over 20 NIL deals. He even signed two other deals the week his partnership with Gold’s Gym was announced.

Ewers inked a deal with Athletic Brewing Company just a few weeks ago. He also recently partnered with Dr. Pepper for their annual “Fansville” campaign. This is a massive honor as past guest stars have included No. 1 draft picks Bryce Young and Caleb Williams.

Ewers has continuously proved he has what it takes to be a brand ambassador/influencer. However, if he wants to be a top QB in the NFL Draft next April, he must also prove himself on the field. Hopefully, he recovers quickly from his abdomen injury sustained against UTSA on September 14 so he can have a chance to do that.
