Quinn Ewers – NIL King?

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Even though Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals are more common and creative than ever, not many college athletes can say they have made over one million dollars in business deals. However, Texas quarterback (QB) Quinn Ewers can safely say he has conquered this achievement.

With over 15 NIL deals, Ewers continues to surprise fans with his wide range of marketability. Here is a quick look into some of the biggest business deals Ewers has been a part of.

Epic Games

In 2022, Ewers partnered with Epic Games, which may not ring a bell for some people. You may be more familiar with their largely famous video game, “Fortnite,” though.

Ewers teamed up with former teammate Xavier Worthy to create an advertisement for the company’s new game mode, “Zero-Build Battle Royale.” Check it out below.

Vanguard Volkswagen

Last year Ewers signed a vehicle deal with Vanguard Volkswagen of Austin. The details of the partnership weren’t disclosed to the public, but the owner of the dealership, Chris Late shared that Ewers can drive his vehicle off of the lot.

The owner of the dealership says as a former Longhorn, he grew up watching Texas football. His father even helped to establish the Big Wheels program at the school, On3 says. It’s because of this that he wanted to partner with players once they were able to be compensated for their business endeavors.

Lucchese Bootmaker

One of Ewers’ coolest deals came in 2022 when he partnered with Lucchese Bootmaker. While the Texas QB was the only Longhorn to sign with the brand, he wasn’t the only one to benefit from the deal.

Ewers shared a photo on X of him and 12 of the team’s offensive linemen who also received leather bags. Sharing really is caring.

NICHOLAS AIR

One of Ewers’ most recent deals is his partnership with NICHOLAS AIR, a private flight company.

“I’m fired up for my new partnership with NICHOLAS AIR. It is a first-class organization and a perfect match for my travel needs. Their attention to detail and commitment to high-level service for their Members is second to none. Proud to represent their brand,” Ewers said

Check out more details of the deal here.

7-Eleven

In probably his most heartwarming deal, Ewers, along with several high-profile athletes teamed up with 7-Eleven last year for their first annual “Cleat Crew” program.

Each player worked with The Shoe Surgeon to create a pair of cleats to be auctioned off with the proceeds going to a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital of their choice.

Ewers’ cleats sold for $10,850, all of which was donated to the Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas.

HEY DUDE

Last September, Ewers partnered with HEY DUDE for their collegiate collection. Several big names were part of the deal including Florida QB Graham Mertz and Alabama QB Jalen Milroe.

The brand signed 12 athletes altogether, each promoting one of the eight schools HEY DUDE teamed up with. Select styles are still available when you search for the school name on the official HEY DUDE website.

EA Sports

One of the most well-known NIL deals among college football right now is between EA Sports and thousands of athletes in the 2025 Draft Class. Ewers is only one of three players to appear on the cover of the company’s 25 edition of the game, though.

Aston Martin

If you thought Ewers only had one vehicle deal, you were mistaken. Before his deal with Volkswagen, the QB partnered with Aston Martin in 2022.

His partner in crime, Xavier Worthy even showed off the car’s orange interior on X. I guess that’s what friends are for.
