Hello everybody, first, thank you for coming to the site. It’s people such as yourself who make the NFL Draft the best thing outside of the Super Bowl.

I like to call the draft, “Super Bowl Jr.”

I grew up in Minnesota as a rabid fan of the Washington Redskins going with my Grandma to see all their games off one of those big satellite dishes at a sports bar. If you wish to read more of my story, you can do so by clicking on this link to a feature done by Sports Illustrated.

Ever since I was a little kid and I met Jim Brown in the Cleveland airport, the biggest names in the game have been brought into my path.

I’ve had the privilege of exchanging letters with Joe Gibbs as a kid, interning with Tony Dungy later down the road at the Vikings, and being hired to work on Bill Parcells’ staff with the New York Jets.

My interview at the Jets came down to me looking Bill Belichick in the eyes and convincing him to hire me.

I worked in the pro scouting department at the Jets under Scott Pioli as a Pro Personnel Assistant my first two years, before being named as a Pro Scout under Mike Tannenbaum my final two years with the Jets.

It was a privilege being around and learning from Dick Haley, who was the Player Personnel Director during my time with the Jets. He was the architect of the Steelers’ dynasty of the 1970’s.

My biggest accomplishment at the Jets was cracking Mike Shanahan’s play-scripting code of his first 15 plays prior to the 1998 AFC Championship Game.

Becoming the first special teams scout in NFL history during my third season was an awesome experience as well. I wrote another 350-page special teams’ book evaluating every player on kickoff, kickoff return, punt and punt return units in 2001.

That book has since been complimented by two-time special teams’ coach of the year, Bobby April when he said, “I had a guy like you in Buffalo, but nothing like this, this is excellent!”

I’ve attended the NFL Scouting Combine six times, spoken as a guest speaker for Sports Management Worldwide, attended the Senior Bowl twice, NFL Europe training camp in Orlando once, and I’ve received salary-cap training at the NFL League Office.

I’ve even stepped foot into Roger Goodell’s office!

A professional highlight came in 2017 when Cleveland Browns’ owner Jimmy Haslam personally wrote to me and asked me for my ideas. That turned into 166-page GM proposal, which I sent to him in the Spring of 2018.

Since being out of the league, I’ve come close to getting back in a few times. Most recently, I interviewed with former Redskins’ Team President, Bruce Allen in 2019.

During that weekend visit, I even had the chance to walk out with the Redskins’ “Greats from the 1980’s” to the 50-yard line at Fed Ex Field to be honored prior to kickoff.

Along the way, I’ve shook hands with Bill Bidwell and Daniel Snyder, received a call from Jerry Jones’ office and sat next to Al Davis at the Combine.

My dream is to get back into the league as a scout, and my vision is to one day become a GM and build the greatest dynasty in the history of the NFL.

Over the last several years, I have written articles for Hogs Haven, Riggo’s Rag, Touchdown Europe, Draft Diamonds and Sports Illustrated Lions, Jets and 49ers.

Just from 2020-2022, I’ve written 750+ articles and my pre-draft evaluations have been in line with NFL grading 82-88% of the time during that period.

My work an evaluator has been cited by publications such as The Sporting News, SB Nation, Heavy.com, On3.com, Cleveland.com, Bro Bible, Oakland Press, Bleacher Report, and Niners Nation.

I’ve appeared on hundreds of Podcasts around the world. I’ve also been the featured guest on ESPN radio, Linda Cohn’s show on Sirius Radio, Jason McIntyre’s “Straight Fire,” and the Florida Sports Radio Network.

My name additionally appears in the USA Today, NY Times and The Christian Post.

I’ve lived an incredible life, and this site is the next chapter. I’m honored and humbled to have this platform and to share this platform with those who contribute.

Truth be told, I am building my scouting staff for when I am named as a GM.

A special thank you to my bride Samantha, who is my Co-GM, and it’s because of her love, prayers and support this site exists, and I am reaching higher than I’ve ever reached.

Together, we have nine children, one in heaven, and eight more all over the country. All the Glory goes to God, I was told I’d never be able to have children when I went through testicular cancer back during my time at the Jets.

When I’m not thinking about football, I’m sleeping, lol.

You’ll never see me without a hat, and I love wearing jerseys and Jordans. I have 20 tattoos so far, my favorite show of all time is Miami Vice, I love candy, enjoy going clubbing with my bride, rap music and listening to NFL themed music by David Robidoux when I’m writing articles. I also have a Jeep and a Corgi named Oliver.

The most famous person I’ve ever met is JFK Jr., and I’m the only voice in America who said Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson and Trey Lance would all be busts prior to them being drafted.

I only know one pitch and that’s a fastball.

Where is all of this going?

Only God knows.

I know with my background and the staff here at First Round Mock, you’ll get the top draft coverage out there.

What’s the most important thing to me?

My relationship with Jesus Christ and pointing you towards Him.

The tattoo that goes across my right forearm is from Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
