
Best 2025 NFL Draft Prospects Still on the Board Day 2

It’s day two of the 2025 NFL Draft, and it kicks off at 7 p.m. Eastern on Friday, April 25.
23 of 32 prospects on my First-Round Value Board went in the first round (71.8%).
Five more of the prospects who went in the first round, I had second-round grades on (which brings that percentage up to 87.5%).

These are the remaining nine first-round graded prospects (in order) that were on my 2025 NFL Draft First Round Value Board who remain available on Day 2 (full scouting reports available by clicking on the links of each listed prospect):
Top 3
- Darius Alexander
- Defensive Tackle
- Toledo
My lone remaining top-10 grade value. Alexander gave off serious alpha DeMarcus Lawrence (Cowboys/Seahawks) and Myles Garrett (Browns) vibes, and he is capable of taking over games whenever he feels like it.
Biggest negative: He didn’t do what he’s capable of doing often enough.
- Quinn Ewers
- Quarterback
- Texas
I’ve maintained a documented first-round grade on Ewers for the past two seasons. He’s an extremely instinctual thrower who can smell the greatest area of vulnerability in pass coverage. Ewers also sports the second-fastest time to throw in this quarterback class (PFF).
Biggest negative: Momentary lapses of judgment.
- Nic Scourton
- EDGE
- Texas A&M
A defender who brings a real presence, and he flew all over the place, showing off his nasty brute power. He proved he can light a fire in the pocket, and he brings it against the run.
Biggest negative: Stalls out if initial pass rushing efforts don’t work.
The next three
- Azareye’h Thomas
- Cornerback
- FSU
A cornerback who ran a timed 4.58 (40), who plays a lot faster. I’ve seen it with him matching up against documented 4.39-4.47 college receivers. Thomas is a sticky and physical press-man cover corner with a high-level understanding of coverages. His brother Juanyeh Thomas plays for the Cowboys.
Biggest negative: Inconsistent techniques
- Princely Umanmielen
- EDGE
- Ole Miss
The most polished pass rusher I studied in this draft class with a full arsenal of pass rushing moves, and he knows how to use them. Umanmielen is a constant source of pressure and disruption. He’s also a hard tackler who is scheme-disciplined.
Biggest negative: Slight hip tightness that keeps him from being able to make necessary quick changes of direction.
- Landon Jackson
- EDGE
- Arkansas
Jackson brings a cold pass-rushing disposition, and he is the most consistent edge rusher I studied in this draft class. A three-down defensive demon who reminded me of former NFL pass rushers Bryce Paup and Preston Smith.
Biggest weakness: Noticeably stiff

- TreVeyon Henderson
- Running Back
- Ohio State
Henderson has an electric short-area burst and acceleration, and once he clears the front seven, he’s off to the races with his 4.43 speed. He’s also a dependable receiver out of the backfield who makes himself visible to his quarterback as a safety valve.
Biggest negative: Slight tendency to try to get too fancy after he takes the handoff.
- Deone Walker
- Defensive Tackle
- Kentucky
I’ve maintained a documented first-round grade on Walker the past two seasons. He’s a monstrous prospect who imposes his will on opponents, and he has a signature pass-rushing swim move. He’s also a punishing tackler.
Biggest negative: Walker played with a fracture in his back in 2024.
- Quinshon Judkins
- Running Back
- Ohio State
Judkins went into beast mode in the college playoffs this past season and seems to be getting better as time goes on. He’s selfless, he runs the ball like a sledgehammer, and he’s a dependable receiver out of the backfield.
Biggest negative: Change of direction takes noticeable effort.
