Carson Beck and More Secure Deal with The Dairy Alliance

Four of the most prominent college football quarterbacks have inked a unique Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal.

Georgia quarterback (QB) Carson Beck, Kentucky QB Brock Vandagriff, Mississippi QB Jaxson Dart, and Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava have each released promotional videos with The Dairy Alliance.

“Drinking dairy milk is important to my routine as it helps keep me hydrated,” said Vandagriff. “I’m excited to share those benefits in my new campaign with the Dairy Alliance!”

While many NIL deals often involve food, vehicles, or even apparel, these three athletes are taking a different route.

What is The Dairy Alliance?

The Dairy Alliance is a non-profit organization that aims to provide individuals of all ages with nutritional information. They also share dairy industry news and research, as well as recipes that contribute to a healthy lifestyle.

The athletes are promoting the organization’s “Milk’s Got Game” campaign. The project highlights the importance of drinking dairy milk after workouts to boost energy, build muscle, and sharpen focus.

“Through our Milk’s Got Game Campaign, we are dedicated to showcasing the nutritional benefits of dairy milk and its crucial role in enhancing athletic performance for consumers across the Southeast and beyond,” said Geri Berdak, Chief Executive Officer at The Dairy Alliance.

“By partnering with these esteemed athletes, we are not only highlighting dairy milk’s exceptional value but also motivating consumers to incorporate it into their active, balanced lifestyles,” Berdak continued. “Our mission is to elevate dairy milk’s profile, support local dairy farmers, and highlight its benefits for both personal health and the dairy industry,” NILNewsstand writes.

What milk means to them

Each athlete shared the role that milk plays in their training. While Vandagriff highlighted how it keeps him hydrated, Iamaleava discussed the value it plays in recovery, and Dart mentioned its additional nutritional benefits.

“Milk is a game-changer,” said Iamaleava. “After the grind, it’s all about recovery. Dairy milk’s essential nutrients, like high-quality protein, help me recover, reset, and recharge, both during the season and off-season.”

“Drinking dairy milk gives us protein and electrolytes to stay strong, hydrated, and on target all season,” said Dart. “I’m proud to represent Mississippi in this campaign and spread the word about milk’s nutrition benefits with The Dairy Alliance.”

A family matter

Unlike the other athletes, one of Beck’s promotions features him and a family member.

His sister, Kylie, a dancer at the University of Georgia, joined him in a recent advertisement. The Georgette is also known for her involvement in various beauty pageants.

“Milk is an important part of my routine and hydration,” said the Georgia QB. “I look forward to sharing how dairy milk’s high-quality protein and other nutrients help athletes perform at their best in this campaign.”

Beck’s sister was also featured in his advertisement with AirStar Elite earlier this season. The two, along with their mom, were seen boarding a private jet for a deal that the QB scored.

Other than the Sanders family, NIL partnerships involving siblings are sparse in the world of college football. Together, the first-round draft prospect and his sister are in a unique position to secure deals that other players wouldn’t usually be able to land.
