JLab Launches “Connectivity” Campaign

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals this season are more interesting than ever! One of the biggest partnerships so far comes from JLab in their newest advertisements.

At the start of the season, the personal technology and audio brand launched its “Connectivity” campaign by partnering with several quarterback (QB) and wide receiver (WR) duos, as well as one standout athlete.

Several of the duos have already posted their promotions. Each features the athletes working out while using JLab headphones.

Check out which players are working with the brand.

Arizona QB Noah Fifita and WR Tetairoa McMillan

University of Florida QB Graham Mertz and WR Chimere Dike

Oklahoma QB Jackson Arnold and WR Nic Anderson

Colorado WR/Cornerback Travis Hunter

Hunter doesn’t have a partner for the deal. However, playing both sides of the field means he essentially does the work of a duo, anyway.

Hunter discussed how JLab headphones help prepare him for games.

“Partnering with a brand like JLab is a game-changer for me,” said Hunter. “Their support for college football and fantastic headphones helps me stay focused and motivated before and after each game. I’m excited to share my journey with fans and show how JLab’s gear will play a role in my performance this season on and off the field.”

Ohio State QB Will Howard and WR Quinshon Judkins, as well as USC QB Miller Moss and WR Zachariah Branch, are also working with the brand. It’s unclear if they will also post edits or if they will promote the brand in another way.

Howard did share what type of music he usually likes to listen to, though.

“I’ve always been a rap music guy when I get on the bus and when I get to the stadium I usually mellow out with some more country or reggae music, but this week I tried worship [music],” said Howard. “It was really cool. It kind of got me going a little bit. Gave me the chills. I was like, ‘Let’s go.’”

Each athlete also worked with JLab to point out their favorite products from the brand.

A new approach

CMO of JLab, Terra Teat shared with Sports Business Journal that the brand wanted to “ramp up” their marketing efforts from last year. She explained how she wanted the partnerships to represent who these athletes are this time around.

“As we continue to grow our college sports initiatives, this content series is an exciting step in showcasing our dedication to supporting these elite college athletes,” said Terra Teat, CMO of JLab. “By sharing the stories of these talented players and highlighting how JLab enhances their performance, we aim to build a strong connection between athletes and fans. Through this initiative, we’re excited to build awareness and affinity for JLab in a variety of engaging ways while enriching the college football experience and celebrating the hard work and dedication of student-athletes,” the brand reports.
