A Look Through All of Antwane Wells Jr. NIL Deals

Reading Time: 3 minutes

South Carolina wide receiver Antwane “Juice” Wells Jr. is a force on and off the football field!

As of this time last year, Wells led the SEC in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals. Excluding his partnerships with The Grove Collective and The Garnet Trust, here are some of the deals that gave him this coveted honor.

HEY DUDE

One year ago, Wells signed with the trendy footwear brand, “HEY DUDE.” The company is known for its lightweight shoes and creative prints. As part of the deal, Wells shot a video advertisement and promoted HEY DUDE on social media.

According to On3, he joined the deal around the same time as several South Carolina baseball players. However, HEY DUDE isn’t just popular among baseball players. Other members of the 2025 NFL Draft class who have also partnered with the brand include Texas QB Quinn Ewers, Florida QB Graham Mertz, and Alabama QB Jalen Milroe.

Village Idiot Pizza

Wells partnered with Village Idiot Pizza in October of 2023. He didn’t get it for free, though. The wide receiver had to go through a series of both athletic and culinary challenges to have “The Juice” pizza available on the menu throughout the month.

The Farmer’s Dog

Something you may not know about Wells is that he has a dog named Sosa! Last May he partnered with The Farmer’s Dog to promote clean eating for pups of all breeds.

“I obviously take my health seriously being a student-athlete, and I got to thinking that I need to do the same for Sosa so he can stick around for as many years as possible,” says Wells.

SAXX Underwear

Not much is known about this deal, but according to the X post above, Wells partnered with SAXX Underwear as of May 2023.

The company is known for its various styles of men’s underwear and is a popular brand among the college football landscape. Laiatu Latu, former UCLA defensive end and No. 15 overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft also partnered with the brand in a unique deal involving The Testicular Cancer Foundation.

TASTY AS FIT

In his first deal procured by Park Avenue, Wells partnered with TASTY AS FIT, a plant-based juice and smoothie storefront in Columbia, South Carolina. Because of his nickname (“Juice”), this deal probably gets the award for the most fitting.

Whit-Ash Furnishings

One deal that is a bit out-of-the-box for Wells is his partnership with Whit-Ash Furnishings

South Carolina Watermelon Association

Wells secured a partnership with the South Carolina Watermelon Association in April of 2023. He joined two other Gamecocks to advertise the company’s “Watermelon Fuels Athletes” campaign.

The organization is led by those who work in the agriculture industry. The group’s members spread information to increase consumer awareness and consumption of watermelon. On3 reports that one of the goals of the group is to market the brand to a younger audience. What better way to do so than with the help of young athletes?

EA Sports

Finally, Wells’ deal with EA Sports appears to be the most recent of his partnerships. He joins thousands of other college football players in the game’s first edition in 11 years

The creators of the game took a break from creating new versions when they ran into problems with compensating players. However, now that college athletes are monetizing themselves, they are in the clear.
