Bo Nix Shows Followers What One of His Days Off Looks Like

Bo Nix continues to impress on AND off the field. 

The Oregon quarterback is having an impressive season, leading the Ducks to an 11-1 season thus far. Throwing for only two interceptions this entire season while contributing 37 touchdowns and over 3,900 passing yards, Nix is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with as an athlete.

Lately, he has been racking up accomplishments off the field, as well, though. He is beside Washington and LSU quarterbacks Michael Penix Jr. and Jayden Daniels as a Heisman favorite. Aside from this, he has also gained publicity in the form of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals. 

The 23-year-old has at least ten deals with notable brands like Bose, Topps/Fanatics, 7-Eleven, and now, Google Shopping. Nix signed with the company just last week with the help of GQ Sports. 

What is Google Shopping?

Google Shopping, which was transformed from Google Product Search, is a way for consumers to discover and shop for products from local businesses and online retailers. Individuals’ listings are personalized based on user activity like recent searches.

The company also has a feature where users can shop for products and compare prices between different vendors, On3 says.

Although there is still much that is unknown about the deal, Nix will promote the brand on social media. This is good publicity for him and Google Shopping with several holidays right around the corner.

A day in the life with Nix

To promote the company, Nix and Google Shopping teamed up to demonstrate what one of his off days typically looks like.

He starts off the day eating breakfast with his wife, Izzy, makes sure to include a journaling session and uses Google Shopping to find some jewelry for Izzy. 

“Oh yeah, these are perfect. She’ll love these,” Nix says while searching for wristwatches to buy his wife.

He also says he watches game film, makes sure to work out, and picks out an outfit for dinner.

Fans love the advertisement. One user commented, “This is what winning looks like.” Another said, “This is the year. Bo Nix has improved so much under this new offense. He’s focused. He’s having fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a dark horse for the Heisman.”

A bright future for Bo

“Bo has obviously had a great season and is one of the higher-profile college athletes,” shared Doug Young, Chief Marketing Officer of Nix’s agency, QB Reps. “He also has an interest in style and fashion (he has a deal with Hugo Boss as well),” Sports Illustrated says. Sports Illustrated also notes that being a married college athlete might provide Nix with even more opportunities in the form of NIL. 

In the meantime, though, watch out for Nix as he is on a roll this season. The quarterback has a solid chance of being nominated as a Heisman finalist, which could set him up for an incredible future in the NFL.
