Now that 2023 NFL drafting is complete, it is time to start looking at the next wave of players.

As always, there is a pool of athletes waiting to make their careers professional.

However, one stands out already due to his work as an NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) celebrity.

USC QB Caleb Williams is undoubtedly one of the next biggest draft prospects.

Although he still has a year until his draft eligibility, he is already shaping up to be selected with his efforts on the field.

He has also spared no time familiarizing himself with the world of endorsement deals.

Last month, the 21 year-old signed a deal taking his financial status to a new level. Williams announced his endorsement with Neutrogena, elevating his NIL earnings to a whopping $2.6 million. NBC Sports mentions his other partnerships with Fanatics, AT&T, Beats by Dre, Athletic Brewing Company and AC+ION Water.

Williams Takes a Break from Practice

Recently, Williams made an appearance at Coachella, a popular music festival and promoted the brand. He posted a video Sunday, April 23 while walking through Neutrogena’s Skin’s Vitals Experiences.

“The exhibit reenacted layers of the skin and ended with a Neutrogena shop to combat the sun exposure, dry desert air, dust and dirt exposed by the climate at Coachella.”

His representation of the company is a big opportunity for Williams.

The No. 1 dermatologist-recommended skincare brand in 2022, Neutrogena sells popular cleansers, moisturizers, sunscreens, and other cosmetic products .

However, according to deal, Neutrogena is not the only company engaging in NIL deals.

This past February, CeraVe, a competitor of Neutrogena, announced its partnership with 100 male student-athletes in an effort to inform men about skin care practices. Compared to women, these norms are often ignored but it is just as important for men to take care of their skin.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner is ranked near the top On3’s overall list of NIL valuations, and No. 1 in terms of football players. He has pulled ahead of freshman QB from Texas, Arch Manning. The Longhorn is the nephew of retired NFL QBs, Peyton and Eli Manning. Plus, he is the grandson of Archie Manning, who devoted 13 years in the league as a quarterback.

Destined for Success

As this is likely his last season with the Trojans, fans are eager to see what Williams does with his time left. Although, with over $2.6 million and 277,000 followers across his social media platforms, it looks like Williams will have a career, whether as an NFL player or as an influencer.

Maybe the star will even release his personal skin care routine next.

Regardless, watch out for Williams next season and any NIL deals he might make throughout his senior year with USC.
